Montieren der Einheit
Schritt 1
Platzieren Sie die Einheit an der Wand, an der Sie sie installieren möchten.
BITTE BEACHTEN SIE – Die Einheit sollte nicht weiter als 2 Meter von dem Chemikalienbehälter entfernt sein.

Step 2
Also confirm that the unit does not have any objects within the boundaries below.

Step 3
Once you have finalised the location for the unit, take a pencil or similar marker and place a dot on the wall through the top mounting hole.

Step 4
Take a 6mm drill bit and drill (not provided) and drill a hole approximately 30-35mm deep for the wall plug provided.

Step 5
Take the wall plug from the mounting kit provided and place into the drilled hole. If required, use a hammer or mallet (not provided) to drive flush.

Step 6
Take the M5 screw from the pack and use a screwdriver (not provided) to screw into the wall.
PLEASE NOTE – There must be at least 10 mm left outside of the wall for the unit to mount correctly.

Step 7
Take the Nexus unit and mount onto the screw via the top mounting hole. Do not screw this into a fixed position at this stage.

Step 8
Once mounted use the spirit level on the bottom of the enclosure to align the unit.

Step 9
Once straight, take your marker and place a dot inside the bottom mounting holes. Try to get them as central as possible to allow for adjustment.

Step 10
Remove the unit from the wall to reveal the drill marks.

Step 11
Drill two holes using the same 6mm drill bit as before (not provided).

Step 12
Insert the remaining two wall plugs (provided in the mounting kit) into the drilled holes. If required, use a hammer or mallet (not provided) to drive flush.

Step 13
Place the unit back onto the top mounting screw.

Step 14
Confirm that the unit is aligned correctly using the spirit level again.

Step 15
Finally, once you have confirmed the placement use a screwdriver to secure both bottom screws. You can now fully flush the top screw to complete.

Step 16
Your unit is now mounted to the wall and ready to wire.

Wiring the Power
Step 1
Remove the cover screws from the bottom of the main unit.

Step 2
Remove the front cover by sliding it up towards the ceiling.
PLEASE NOTE: The screen is attached to the cover with wires, so please take care not to damage these as you lift it up
Use the hooks at the top of the enclosure to hold the cover in place.

Step 3
Locate the wire inlets at the bottom of the enclosure. Unscrew either gland and push the cable up into the enclosure.

Step 4
Locate the wire inlets at the bottom of the enclosure. Unscrew either gland and push the cable up into the enclosure.
Remove the front cover by sliding it up towards the ceiling.
PLEASE NOTE: The screen is attached to the cover with wires, so please take care not to damage these as you lift it up
Use the hooks at the top of the enclosure to hold the cover in place.

Step 5
Remove the 3 way green connector on the power supply (as illustrated). Place the 3 core mains wire rated 110-240 AC into the slot located on the IO board. You wire it in the following order if inserted from the left with the screws facing you.
Live
Neutral
Ground

Wiring the Trigger/Input Signals
If you are wiring trigger signals with a Common Neutral connections, please see this section – Common Neutral Wiring
If you are wiring trigger signals with Isolated Neutral connections, please see this section – Isolated Neutral Wiring
Common Neutral Wiring
Step 1
The Trigger Signals are located inside the unit on the right side board. If you are looking to wire Common Input trigger signals with a Common Neutral use the 2 way connector and 9 way A rail shown here.

Step 2
Wire the Common Neutral into the two way and connect your Trigger Connections into slots 1-8 in the 9 way connector.

Step 3
Place the Common Neutral connector back into the two way slot shown below.

Step 4
Connect any common trigger signals into the A rail as shown.

Step 5
Confirm that the Dip switches are in the BOTTOM position for the Common Neutral.

Isolated Neutral Wiring
Step 1
The Trigger Signals are located inside the unit on the right side board. If you are looking to wire Isolated Input trigger signals with a Isolated Neutral’s use the 9 way A & B rail shown here.

Step 2
Wire both the A & B rail connectors with the trigger signal and corresponding isolated neutral connector, the trigger number and neutral highlight below. For example:
Trigger connector slot 1 neutral is slot 1 on the B rail.
Trigger connector slot 3 neutral is slot 3 on the B rail.

Step 3
Place the Isolated Neutral connector back into the two way slot shown below.

Step 4
Connect any Isolated trigger signals into the A rail as shown.

Step 5
Confirm that any Isolated Neutral connections have the Dip Switches in the TOP position.

Auto Formula Select – Timed Mode Setup
Step 1
The 9th input on the A rail connector is for the Auto Formula Select.

Step 2
Wire the Auto Formula Select into the 9th connector slot. Then use either the Common or Isolated neutral wiring as setup with the Trigger Signals earlier.
Common Neutral Wiring
Isolated Neutral Wiring

Step 3
If you do not have a Formula Select Module, you can use this Auto Formula Select to set up either TIMED or BINARY signals. For TIMED the length of the signal sent from this input will denote the program number. PLEASE NOTE – This relies on the MULTIPLIER set in the program settings.
E.G (With a multiplier of 1)
1 second = Program 1
2 seconds = Program 2
(With a multiplier of 2)
2 seconds = Program 1
4 seconds = Program 2
To change the multiplier settings please see the following section – Auto Formula Select Settings.
Once the program is locked in, the program number will appear in the top right of the unit screen.

Auto Formula Select – Binary Mode Setup
Step 1
For BINARY mode you first apply the MODE signal, then you have the SET UP TIME in section (Auto Formula Select Settings). To activate the program you will need to put the correlating binary code with the correct trigger. These are shown below. They go left to right trigger 1-8.
For example:
Program 7 = Input 1 + Input 2 + Input 3

Step 2
Please see the binary program list below.
PROGRAM NO. | INPUT 1 | INPUT 2 | INPUT 3 | INPUT 4 | INPUT 5 |
PROGRAM 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
PROGRAM 2 | 0 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
PROGRAM 3 | 1 | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

Step 3
Below is an example of the AFS signal coming into the unit, with a trigger signal being applied to select Program 1.

Wiring the Manifold & Safety Switch
Step 1
The manifold connectors are located inside the main unit, on the main PCB here.

Step 2
The wiring for the connector is as below. The top connector is for the Manifold with Neutral and 24V DC inputs. The second input connector is for the Safety Switch with Neutral and 24V DC inputs.

Step 3
Insert the connectors into the slots provided. The Manifold at the top and the Safety Switch below, as shown.

Step 4
Lastly, in order to activate a manifold you will need to remove the relevant jumper. They are located to the left of the manifold connector.
